Preah Sihanouk: Following guidance from General Sar Thet, National Police Commissioner-General, and regular instructions from Lieutenant General Sar Ratha, deputy national police commissioner and Preah Sihanouk provincial police chief, the Water Traffic Police Office inspected commercial motor vessels on the morning of February 17, 2026. The checks sought technical vessel safety and security for domestic and international tourists visiting the islands during the traditional Chinese and Vietnamese New Year.
