Preah Sihanouk province: A new nature-themed leisure site along Prek Toek Sap in Ream sangkat, Kampong Som city, is becoming a popular tourism destination, attracting many residents and visitors every day.
Ream has considerable potential for nature tourism. The emergence of new developed resorts of this kind is expected to make Kampong Som city an increasingly attractive destination for domestic and international visitors.
The new site was creatively developed by the private sector to provide a place to relax alongside the natural mangrove environment and beautiful creek waters. A reaction quoted in the article says: “It is a new and different place that refreshes us. Besides enjoying the fresh air along the creek, we can also have delicious food.”
Growth in visitor numbers around Prek Toek Sap brings enjoyment and also helps local livelihoods through sales and various tourism services.
