Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet signed a sub-decree reassigning and appointing governors in five municipal and district administrations in Takeo province, with the aim of strengthening the effectiveness of local administration.
According to the April 24 report and the attached sub-decree dated April 17, កង អាណាន់ moves from governor of Doun Keo city to governor of Angkor Borei district; ឌឹម គឹមសាន moves from Prey Kabbas district to Doun Keo city; គិន ភក្តី moves from Kaoh Andaet district to Prey Kabbas district; and ភួន ឈីម moves from Bati district to Kaoh Andaet district. សាយ វណ្ណៈ, who previously served as deputy governor of Tram Kak district, is appointed governor of Bati district.
These transfers and appointments are seen as a potentially important step towards stronger local leadership structures and more effective administration.
