Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defence facilitated a visit by the Military Attachés Corps in Phnom Penh (MACPP) to several provinces in the Cambodia–Thailand border region on the morning of April 28, 2026, during implementation of the ceasefire between the two countries.
The ministry’s spokesperson said Cambodia, as a law-abiding and responsible state, remained committed to peaceful dispute settlement in accordance with international law and the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and the ASEAN Charter. Cambodia firmly opposed threats or the use of force and sought a just, impartial and lasting solution, the spokesperson said, to provide a foundation for the peoples of both countries to live together in peace, stability and development.
