According to the report, the Preah Sihanouk branch of the Cambodian Red Cross received US$369,018, 200 million riel and 800 packs of drinking water at its headquarters on the morning of May 6, 2026. The donations came from supporters across society, including traders, businesspeople and departments and other units; the report lists 102 participating donors and units. The handover was presided over by provincial governor Mang Sineth, identified in the report as chair of the provincial Red Cross branch committee.

Mang Sineth thanked the donors, departments and units for supporting the branch each year. The branch welcomes further contributions of money, food and supplies to enable its humanitarian work for people affected by disasters and vulnerable people in urgent need.

Mang Sineth pledged to deliver the donated money, food and supplies according to identified needs to poor and vulnerable families, poor veterans and veterans with disabilities, with particular support for frontline troops and people displaced by war.

He said the branch had previously used donations to support frontline troops and people displaced by war, build houses for disaster-affected and especially vulnerable people in local communities, and carry out other charitable work.

Mang Sineth expressed hope that departments, units, donors, traders and businesspeople would continue contributing money, food and supplies. The branch’s fundraising team would receive donations at its headquarters during working hours.
