The article also reported online administrative services in 12 target provinces covering tourism; culture and fine arts; industry, science, technology and innovation; and agriculture, forestry and fisheries, with reported online receipts of more than 54 million riel. It did not clarify whether these online receipts were already included in the overall total above.
The article recalled that Sar Sokha (ស សុខា), then Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, had recently announced the official launch of an information system for applications and online public services at capital and provincial One Window Service Units. Citizens could also submit applications and make payments through banking apps, according to the article.
