According to Sihanoukville Autonomous Port’s (PAS) first-quarter 2026 report, revenue was approximately US$42.5 million, or KHR 174 billion, up 51.89% from the same period in 2025. Profit after tax was about US$15.15 million, or KHR 62 billion, an increase of approximately 491% year on year.
Chairman and CEO Lou Kimchhun said PAS served as an important import and export gateway, helping address challenges and support economic growth. In the first quarter of 2026, container throughput reached 373,748 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), up 38.21%, while vessel calls totalled 495, up 13.79%. He said the figures reflected a trend toward larger, deeper-draft ships calling at the port, contributing to more competitive ocean freight costs and greater investment appeal.
He said PAS was committed to improving service quality through greater digital transformation and stronger connectivity, strengthening its role as a gateway for international trade and attracting investment to Cambodia.
According to Cambodia’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport, PAS handled more than 1.3 million TEUs in 2025, up 30.57% from 2024, and earned approximately US$150 million in revenue, an increase of about 35%.
