Representatives of five South Korean companies plan to visit Cambodia in June 2026 to explore potential investment opportunities, according to a May 28 report by Agence Kampuchea Presse.

On May 26, Cambodia’s Ambassador to South Korea, Khuon Phon Ratanak, met Aerobi Chief Executive Lee Moon-cheol and badminton coach Song Young-ho at the Cambodian Embassy in Seoul. Kim Yun-tae, director of the Korea Multicultural Museum, coordinated the meeting.

Kim outlined progress in contacting South Korean investors interested in exploring opportunities in Cambodia. He said he planned to lead an initial delegation representing five companies to Cambodia in June.

He requested the embassy’s help in arranging meetings with relevant Cambodian ministries, institutions and companies to discuss cooperation and learn more about future investment opportunities.

The ambassador thanked Kim for his previous work connecting companies and introducing investment opportunities in Cambodia.

The ambassador said the embassy would help facilitate the visit and meetings with relevant Cambodian stakeholders, and continue supporting cooperation between businesses from the two countries.
