Kandal: On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Cambodia’s acting head of state Hun Sen met provincial, city, district, commune and sangkat councillors and departmental and unit leaders from across Kandal in a cordial discussion focused on local development.
The gathering aimed to improve leadership capacity, public administration and local service delivery, making services higher in quality and efficiency and timely in responding to residents’ actual needs.
The report presents his personal visit as showing the importance attached to subnational administrations, central to implementing government policies and serving the public effectively, transparently and responsibly.
