According to the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology on June 16, 2026, low pressure over the South China Sea is affecting the southwest monsoon across the Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea, Mekong basin, Cambodian waters and Cambodia.
These conditions are expected to produce the following weather across Cambodia from June 16 to 18, 2026:
1. Lowlands
Average minimum temperature 26°C and average maximum 36°C.
Winds from the southwest and southeast averaging 3 meters per second. Rain with gusts and thunderstorms is possible across 50% of the area.
2. Highlands
Average minimum temperature 24°C and average maximum 35°C.
Winds from the southwest and southeast averaging 3 meters per second.
Rain, gusts and thunderstorms are possible across 40% of the area.
3. Coastal areas
Average minimum temperature 25°C and average maximum 35°C.
Winds from the southwest and southeast averaging 2 meters per second.
Rain with gusts and thunderstorms is possible across 30% of the area.
Average minimum sea-wave height 0.50 meters and average maximum 1.50 meters.
