On the morning of 29 June 2026, Kampong Seila District Governor ឆាយ សុគន្ធដា led a team to visit a low-income household with a chronically ill family member in ក្រាំងអាត់ village, Kampong Seila commune and district, bringing food, supplies and cash assistance in a show of concern for residents’ welfare and livelihoods.
The governor asked about the family’s well-being and encouraged them to look after their health and remain strong in facing daily difficulties. He said local authorities would continue to support residents in need.
The assistance included one 50-kilogram sack of rice, one carton of instant noodles, one container of cooking oil, one pack of soy sauce, one carton of drinks, four packs of drinking water, garlic, condensed milk, some clothing and 200,000 riel to ease living and daily expenses.
The report described the visit as demonstrating the district authorities’ care and willingness to share with people in difficulty, consistent with the principle that nobody should face hardship without attention, and as strengthening relations between local authorities and residents.
