The National Employment Agency (NEA) was to hold a major programme in Banteay Meanchey at the end of the week to help people find work and obtain skills training, with particular attention to workers recently returned from Thailand.
More than 90,000 job opportunities from major companies were advertised, with participants able to submit applications, be interviewed and potentially be hired immediately on site.
The programme was also to explain the benefits of National Social Security Fund (NSSF) cards and allow young people to register for various government-provided vocational courses free of charge.
Special arrangements: everyone attending was to receive transport, meals and drinks free of charge.
The announced dates and venues were:
– 3 July 2026: Thma Puok district hall.
– 4 July 2026: Phnom Srok district hall.
For enquiries, the Labour Ministry spokesperson said workers seeking safe jobs at home with pay comparable to working abroad could call hotline 1297.
