Preah Sihanouk: Guided by the principle that “residents’ hardships are the authorities’ concern,” Kampong Seila district governor ឆាយ សុគន្ធដា led a team on the morning of July 7, 2026 to visit and bring assistance to two households facing financial hardship in ស្ទឹងច្រាល village, អូរបាក់រទេះ commune, Kampong Seila district, Preah Sihanouk province.
The governor asked about their wellbeing and living conditions and encouraged the families to keep working to earn a living. He said the authorities would continue paying attention to residents’ difficulties and helping address them promptly.
The first household, that of ប្រាក់ ស៊ីម, whose roof had been damaged by a natural disaster, received 20 kilograms of rice, one case of instant noodles, other food supplies and 100,000 riel. The team supporting the village also provided corrugated roofing sheets to repair the damaged roof.
An elderly woman, សេន មុំ, who was facing financial hardship while caring for two grandchildren, received 10 kilograms of rice, other food supplies and 100,000 riel.
The visit reflected the Kampong Seila district authorities’ attention to meeting residents locally, hearing requests and providing practical assistance to people facing hardship, with the aim of improving wellbeing and ensuring that nobody is left behind during a crisis.
