"Where There Is a Road, There Is Hope": Kep Province Breaks Ground on a New Concrete Road to Further Boost the Local Economy

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new concrete road, His Excellency Som Piseth, Governor of Kep Province, emphasized the importance of infrastructure under the slogan "Where there is a road, there is hope," noting that this new road will facilitate travel, ease difficulties, and further boost the economic and commercial activities of local residents.
The Governor delivered these remarks at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an AC concrete road, 1 line, 548 meters long and 5 meters wide, located in Kampong Tralach Village, Prey Thom Sangkat, Kep City, on the morning of September 18, 2026.

Mr. Khon Vuthy, Governor of Kep City, reported that for the 2026 development plan, the city received support for a total of 47 priority projects, including: economic sector (11), social affairs (10), environment and natural resources (19), and administration (7).
In 2026, the city is implementing 2 additional lines (in Damnak Chang'aeur Village, 285 meters long, and the road line for which this new groundbreaking ceremony is being held, 548 meters long).
