Preah Sihanouk improves facilities and learning environment at Tumnob Rolok Thmei school

Preah Sihanouk province: Education remains a top priority for the Royal Government working group assigned to the province. In cooperation with the provincial administration, the group is focusing on teaching quality and on making school grounds attractive, green and hygienic, so that students can learn in a comfortable environment.

On the morning of September 19, 2026, Sok Keang, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction and head of the education, youth and sport working group, and Preah Sihanouk Governor Mang Sineth presided over a traditional blessing and foundation-laying ceremony for a school gateway and the installation of roofing on a new classroom building at Tumnob Rolok Thmei Primary and Lower Secondary School. The school is in Village 4, Tumnob Rolok commune, Stung Hav district, Preah Sihanouk province.

During their inspection of construction progress, the two leaders instructed the technical and construction teams to ensure that facilities, including the fence, gateway, gardens and football pitch, comply with technical plans and are built to a high, durable standard. These improvements will create a more attractive learning environment and help raise educational quality and develop human resources in the local community.
