Kandal road paving completed; remaining embankment work due by September 20

The Kandal Provincial Department of Rural Development wishes to inform the public of the following:

Concrete paving has been fully completed on a 1,000-metre-long, six-metre-wide road in Srae Ampil village, Chhveang commune, Ponhea Lueu district, Kandal province. The only remaining work is backfilling the embankment slopes on both sides of the road. Persistent heavy rainfall has delayed this work.

The department asks officials and all residents for their understanding and apologises for any disruption or traffic congestion during construction. The technical team will accelerate the remaining embankment work and complete it no later than September 20, 2026.

The department respectfully brings this update to the attention of officials and the public.
