Cambodia’s top diplomat, His Excellency Prak Sokhonn, reviews progress in preparation for the 20th Francophonie Summit

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Chairman of the National Committee for the Organization of the 20th Francophonie Summit, chaired the 7th meeting of the National Committee on the afternoon of September 21, 2026, to review in detail the progress of the work of the various sub-committees in preparation for the 20th Francophonie Summit in Phnom Penh, from November 14 to 16, 2026.
During the meeting, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn provided important directions and recommendations to the sub-committees and relevant institutions, urging close cooperation and coordination of work. The preparations must be carried out meticulously, in accordance with the established plan and schedule.
His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister also instructed the relevant units to accelerate and complete all necessary tasks in a timely manner, to ensure that the organization of the 20th Francophonie Summit can proceed smoothly, with good coordination, and achieve the planned objectives.
