Cambodia Selected to Host the World Tourism Summit "GX Summit 2026"

Cambodia is preparing to host the prestigious international event "World Tourism GX Summit," which will take place from September 23 to September 28, 2026, in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap province. This announcement was made during a courtesy meeting and working discussion between Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Mr. Bruce Poon Tip, founder of the international tourism company G Adventures, at the Peace Palace.
G Adventures is one of the leading tourism companies based in Canada, with an operational network covering more than 100 countries worldwide.
Cambodia's selection for this world-class event is not only a catalyst to help promote and elevate the prestige of Cambodian tourism on the international stage, but also an important driving force in restoring and stimulating the growth of the tourism sector, as well as creating economic opportunities and tangible income for the people in local communities.
