700 Gather in Cambodia! GX Global Tourism Summit Ignites Phnom Penh and Siem Reap

From September 23 to 28, 2026, the GX Global Tourism Summit was held in Cambodia, with events covering Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, attracting around 700 global tourism representatives. Together, the gathering made a profound international tourism event for Cambodia and also served as an important window to showcase its tourism resources to the world.

On September 27, the core summit activities took place in Siem Reap. Tourism professionals from around the world gathered at the home of Angkor, discussing topics such as community tourism, cultural experiences, and sustainable tourism, while experiencing Cambodia's tourism resources firsthand.

Why did this summit attract attention? Because the participants are not only visitors, but also include travel advisors, industry partners, media, and others who may bring the attractions, culture, and tourism products they see in Cambodia back to the international market in the future.
