Cambodia has selected the winner of "Universal Woman Cambodia 2026." Well-known actress Mean Sonyta, hailed as the "Krama Queen," was officially crowned on the evening of September 27 and will represent Cambodia at the international pageant.
The coronation and sash ceremony was held that night, with the event organizers, artists, staff and partners in attendance offering their congratulations. For Mean Sonyta, this is not only a personal honor but also a responsibility to represent her country on the international stage.

Mean Sonyta noted that her acting career and pageant competitions are very different. Although she took part in a pageant 15 years ago, the overall abilities of contestants and the competitive environment have both evolved, so she will study hard from the basics to prepare for the international competition.
She said that the moment she put on the crown and draped the sash, what she felt was not only glory, but a sense of national duty. She hopes to embark on this new journey with dignity, courage and confidence, treating this experience as a new chapter in her life.

Mean Sonyta revealed that on this international stage she will present entirely new content and weave Cambodian culture and civilization into it. She said she hopes her performance will help more international audiences learn about Cambodia, and she thanked the public for their continued support as she represents the country in the competition.
Pageant organizer Davin Prasath said Mean Sonyta possesses outstanding strength and rich experience, making her an excellent fit for the title. She believes Mean Sonyta will be able to fully showcase her strengths and meet the new challenge of representing Cambodia well.
