Samdech noted that the first day of travel back to hometowns for relatives, aunts, uncles, and grandparents on the occasion of the traditional Khmer Kan Ben and Pchum Ben festivals has begun, with departures from Phnom Penh to various provinces across the country using free bus transportation services provided through the attention of the head of the Royal Government, to help ease financial burdens and ensure comfortable and safe travel.
In response to the directives of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Phnom Penh Capital Administration has been instructed to continue arranging buses to transport relatives, aunts, uncles, and grandparents to their hometowns to reunite with their families and observe the traditional Khmer festivals.
