During the 2026 Pchum Ben festival, Cambodian Minister of Information Neth Pheaktra and his wife visited the construction site of the Ministry of Information building, where they greeted around 50 workers engaged in the building and road works, and distributed Pchum Ben holiday gifts to them, thanking the workers for their hard work.
During the visit, Neth Pheaktra expressed his thanks and appreciation to the workers for working day and night and keeping the construction on track. He noted that the workers' efforts provided important support for advancing the building of the Ministry of Information and surrounding roads as planned.
At the same time, Neth Pheaktra reminded all workers to pay close attention to occupational safety during construction, fulfill their duties responsibly, strictly implement safety measures, and ensure both the quality of the project and the safety of themselves and others.
The visit reflects the Ministry of Information's care and recognition for frontline construction workers and conveyed holiday blessings, encouraging them to continue their work and help ensure the smooth completion of the related infrastructure projects.
