The Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs plan to organize a side event of “FrancoTech” under the theme “One Francophonie Community, One Digital Future” from November 14 to 16, 2026, at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Center. The event is being organized on the occasion of Cambodia hosting the 20th Francophonie Summit, under a mandate from the Royal Government, with cooperation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, the Francophone Employers Federation, and relevant partners.
FrancoTech 2026 will serve as a platform bringing together high-level government delegations, experts, technology companies, investors and startups from French-speaking countries to exchange knowledge, experience and modern technologies, as well as to strengthen economic, technological and investment cooperation between the Francophonie community and ASEAN. Key programs include a technology and innovation exhibition, a digital innovation competition, an investment forum, business matching, and discussion forums on seven key topics, namely: artificial intelligence (AI) and governance, digital government, financial technology and financial inclusion, agricultural technology and food security, digital startups and innovation, women in innovation, and technology for tourism and culture.
At the same time, the MPTC and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs have called on ministries and institutions, technology companies, telecom operators and digital startups to participate by showcasing their platforms, services, solutions and digital technologies to national and international visitors. The two institutions also invited leaders, company owners, students and the general public to take part in large numbers to learn about new technologies, gain knowledge and seek new opportunities in the digital and innovation sectors.
