The General Department of Immigration reported 777 deportations, including 120 women, for July 21–31, 2026, a period it described as ten days. Among them were 158 Chinese nationals linked to online scams, deported on a special flight from Techo International Airport.

The General Department of Immigration said Cambodian authorities deported 777 foreign nationals, including 120 women, across 19 nationality categories during July 21–31, 2026, a period it described as ten days.

The countries and territories listed in the report were Cameroon, South Korea, China, Taiwan (China), Japan, Nigeria, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Liberia, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, the United States and Australia.

Among them were 158 Chinese nationals, including five women, who were linked to online scams and deported on a special flight through the Techo International Airport checkpoint.

The other foreign nationals were deported after being found to be involved in offences including illegal border crossings, document forgery, staying without passports, using forged visas with fake QR codes, kidnapping for ransom, drug trafficking and drug use, illegal employment and other criminal offences.

The General Department of Immigration said the operation strictly implemented the Royal Government’s instructions to combat transnational crime, particularly online scams, safeguard national security, maintain public order and ensure that Cambodia does not become a base used by criminal groups to commit offences.
