On the morning of August 3, 2026, H.E. Wang Wenbin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia, brought humanitarian aid to displaced residents temporarily staying at a safety centre in Preah Vihear province. He visited them and checked on their living conditions, as they were still unable to return to their original homes.
The visit took place at the Wat Peung Angkam safety centre, also known as Wat Bak Kam, in Bak Kam village, Chhean Mukh commune, Tbaeng Mean Chey district, Preah Vihear province.
Preah Vihear Governor Kim Rithy, together with other leaders, local authorities and representatives of the various armed forces, warmly welcomed the ambassador and his delegation. The visit and humanitarian assistance reflected the friendship and good cooperation between Cambodia and China, as well as concern for the well-being of people facing hardship.
