To strengthen industrial potential and attract major investment to Cambodia, H.E. Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Province, led a delegation on a study visit to Guangzhou Haifeng Automobile Parts Co., Ltd., an automotive parts factory in Guangzhou, China, on the afternoon of September 8, 2026.
The visit focused on modern technologies, including the use of robotic arms for welding, cutting and assembling steel components to achieve precision, safety and efficient operations.
The delegation also examined international-standard warehousing facilities and systems for managing and storing automotive parts in an orderly manner in line with global technical standards.
The delegation exchanged views with company leaders on the development of the automotive industry, explored investment opportunities and introduced the geographical and economic potential of Preah Sihanouk Province.
The meeting was an important strategic step toward attracting international companies to invest in vehicle assembly and heavy industry in Preah Sihanouk Province in the future. By: Pai Sokhim.
