A Saudi Arabia-led coalition announced on Wednesday that it had intercepted and struck three ballistic missiles and four drones targeting their country.
The coalition spokesperson Turki al-Maliki said the missiles were directed toward Eastern Province but caused no casualties. Prior to the strike, Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense sent an immediate warning to Eastern Province and Al Kharj governorates, urging citizens to avoid gathering sites, filming or livestreaming, and calling 911 in the event of an emergency.
The missile and drone attacks occurred when senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Pakistan were meeting with their Iranian counterparts in the city of Tehran to ease tensions in the region. Source: Ridtit
