Nunez said in a Washington press conference that October 31 poses the greatest threat to the fabric of society, and that the administration will continue to intensify security measures and the use of armored vehicles and armored personnel carriers.
This warning came after yellow-vested protesters and union leaders called for mass demonstrations outside government buildings and city halls across France to protest rising living costs, which have increased sharply due to inflation and repeated theft.
It should also be noted that last Saturday, protesters attracted close to 1 million people, with authorities arresting 2,700 people.
