The visit by Ministry of Tourism and Preah Sihanouk provincial administration officials was intended to extend courtesies and best wishes to the crew of the ship, which had brought international tourists to Cambodia. The activity clearly demonstrated the high level of attention that the Royal Government of Cambodia, the Ministry of Tourism and the Preah Sihanouk provincial authorities give to the safety and well-being of international tourists, reflecting:
A deep humanitarian spirit without discrimination based on race or skin colour, and the warm hospitality of the Cambodian people, so that all tourists will remember the friendliness and attentive care they received, even when their journeys encounter unexpected technical obstacles.
