A suspected shooting has recently been reported in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. A woman was reportedly shot and fell to the ground in the street. Information from the scene alleges that a man fired at her. The exact circumstances and the situation of those involved still require further verification.
The incident was reported to have taken place opposite a hotel identified in the reports as “大江”. A man allegedly shot a woman, who then fell to the ground.
However, reports have not yet disclosed the identities of the two people or their relationship, nor explained the cause of the shooting. There is no reliable information on whether the woman has been taken to hospital, the extent of her injuries, or whether police have taken the man into custody.
Online accounts have also placed the incident near a police station in Sihanoukville. It has not yet been established whether that account and the report of a location opposite “大江” Hotel refer to the same place.
Information about the incident is currently circulating mainly through accounts from the scene and social media. No formal announcement from local police has yet been seen. It is too early to conclude whether the incident involved a private dispute or whether the two people knew each other.
Further police investigation and official information are needed to establish what happened and whether anyone was injured or killed.
