On the night of October 2, 2025, Sihanoukville Deputy Governor Samut Sothearith, representing Governor Mang Sineth, welcomed passengers arriving on Sky Angkor Airlines’ new service from Macao to Sihanoukville International Airport.
Sky Angkor Airlines (ZA), a domestic carrier, launched its service connecting Sihanoukville and Macao. Airport developer and operator Cambodia Airports welcomed the Macao–Sihanoukville flight on October 2, 2025. The departure for Macao was on October 3. ZA will operate two flights per week. Since May 2025, Sihanoukville International Airport has developed its connections to four destinations: Wuxi, Kunming, Shenzhen and Macao.
These developments reflect the airport’s commitment to strengthening air connectivity between Cambodia and China, supporting tourism, trade and investment opportunities in Sihanoukville province and beyond. Looking ahead, the airport will continue seeking more flights and new destinations to better serve passengers and partners. It also promotes air transport, opening further commercial opportunities in line with Cambodian authorities’ strategy to turn the port city into a logistics hub.
