On the afternoon of October 12, 2025, King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath returned safely to Cambodia after completing nearly two months of health checks and recuperation in Beijing, China.
The royal visitors arrived aboard a Cambodian government aircraft at Techo International Airport, where senior Cambodian officials welcomed them home in a solemn and warm atmosphere.
Their return marked the completion of the health visit to China. The Royal Palace said the King and Queen Mother were in good health and thanked China for the care and attention provided during their stay.
Their safe return brought reassurance and encouragement to people across the country.
