(Siem Reap province) Repeated rainfall has caused brief pooling at some temples where drainage is insufficient or drain openings are narrow, according to the APSARA National Authority on 15 October 2025.
The head of the visitor-service team at Ta Prohm said that heavy rain often left pools of water in the temple’s lower-lying interior, including the southern corner of the Hall of Dancers.
Visitor-service teams advised tourists visiting Ta Prohm and other temples to take care, avoid walking through standing water or wet areas to prevent slipping, and strictly avoid hazardous areas marked with “No entry” signs.
