Business registrations in Cambodia continued to grow during the first ten months of the year, with more than 40,000 newly registered enterprises nationwide, reflecting increasing domestic investment activity. The number of factories and enterprises in the garment and textile sectors rose to 1,810, creating over two million jobs nationwide and reinforcing the sectors’ role as economic pillars.
The Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training said the steady increase in enterprise numbers reflected stronger market activity and investor confidence. Among the main attractions, the government continues to improve business policies by removing nearly 20 administrative approval processes, simplifying procedures and reducing business costs, creating a more competitive operating environment for investors. Technical and vocational training is also being strengthened to meet industry demand for skilled workers and improve overall competitiveness.

Official data show that by October 2025, Cambodia had approved 579 new investment projects worth a total of US$9.2 billion, expected to create about 400,000 additional jobs. Alongside more than 82,000 existing jobs, investment activity in Cambodia remained strong and the economic outlook positive.
