Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet sent a message to all compatriots on the morning of December 14, expressing pride in the strong national solidarity shown as the country faced difficulties resulting from what he described as aggression by a neighbouring country.
Hun Manet said he was proud of the strength of Khmer national unity during these difficulties. The King, national leaders, civil servants at all levels and Cambodians of every political view and religion, both at home and abroad, had shown solidarity as one behind every heroic member of the armed forces and national police bravely stationed on missions to defend Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He called for the strength of Khmer national unity to remain a powerful source of support and encouragement for the country’s heroic troops and national police as they continued their mission to defend the territory.
The prime minister said the Royal Government stood with the people and the country’s heroic troops and national police at all times.
