Cambodian government spokesman Pen Bona said that, in addition to what he described as armed aggression against Cambodia, Thailand was conducting psychological warfare on social media and through formal and informal media to distort facts and undermine the morale of Cambodian troops and civilians. He alleged that Thailand had created many fake accounts using Khmer names and writing in Khmer. He nevertheless said Cambodians would not fall into Thailand’s trap.
