On the morning of December 28, 2025, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn held bilateral working talks with Wang Yi, Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, in Yunnan province, China.
The meeting between the Cambodian and Chinese foreign ministers aimed to further strengthen and expand cooperation and the strong strategic partnership between the two countries, contributing to peace, security, stability and sustainable development in the region and worldwide.
According to the report, Prak Sokhonn was in Yunnan, China, to attend the trilateral meeting between Cambodia, Thailand and China taking place on December 28–29. Discussions were focused on recent developments in the border situation between Cambodia and Thailand.
