In addition to protecting the coast, it allows visitors to sit and enjoy 360-degree views of the surroundings. The committee also highlighted the roundabout with a 21-metre Yeay Chumteav Mao statue at the Techo Peace Beach project in Kep, which has a 2,700-metre beach.
