Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen received Indonesian Ambassador Santo Darmosumarto for a courtesy and farewell meeting on January 26 after the ambassador had completed his diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
Senate spokesperson Chea Thyrith said afterward that Hun Sen highly appreciated the ambassador’s role and strenuous efforts in fostering the development of Cambodia–Indonesia relations.
The ambassador thanked Hun Sen for the valuable opportunity to make his farewell call. He assessed that cooperation had progressed in almost every sector and said he had worked during his mission to restore and further strengthen bilateral ties, particularly highlighting reciprocal visits by the two countries’ leaders.
