Sky Angkor Airlines announced that it would launch direct international Sihanoukville–Xiamen–Sihanoukville services (KOS–XMN–KOS) on February 8, 2026, with three flights weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Outbound ZA687 would leave Sihanoukville at 18:10 and arrive in Xiamen at 22:20. Return ZA688 would leave Xiamen at 23:20 and reach Sihanoukville at 01:55 the following day.
The route would strengthen air links between Sihanoukville and China's southeastern coastal cities, provide more convenient options for tourism, business and personal travel, and help enhance Sihanoukville's international appeal as a coastal tourism and investment destination.
