Nuon Bunthol, head of the Kampong Som CPP committee, said the 30th political-education course gave party officials, especially the next generation, essential knowledge of scientific reasoning, the party’s cause, achievements and historical lessons. He called for good officials and active young members with four qualities: loyalty to the nation, party and people; good relations sharing people’s joys and difficulties; responsibility for assigned duties; and improved ability and virtue in service of the nation and homeland. They should actively implement the party programme and phase one of the government’s Pentagonal Strategy to develop their district and province.
He said 85 party officials attended, including 11 women. Learning outcomes were rated high for 83 percent and moderate for 17 percent, and all participants attended all five lessons.
At the closing ceremony, Vong Phanat, deputy head of the provincial CPP committee, congratulated participants on results that contributed to building and strengthening the party, especially human-resource education and training.
He praised the course for strengthening officials’ abilities as party human resources and urged them to apply and spread the learning when they returned to their units and communities. He encouraged further good results in fulfilling duties with quality, effectiveness and success under CPP leadership, and continued study under the motto “learn, keep learning, learn throughout life.”
Vong Phanat asked participants to share what they had learned as widely as practical conditions and capacity allowed. Knowledge and experience from party leaders, new learning, lessons and reports would help the next generation understand party-policy objectives and leadership experience and develop reasoning and responsibility for both present and future duties.
