On the evening of February 13, Prime Minister Hun Manet praised Cambodia–South Korea cooperation against transnational crime, particularly telecom and online scams. He highlighted the joint task force and continuing action against scams, human trafficking and other cross-border crime, exchanges of information and joint enforcement as criminal methods evolved.

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung said on his official Facebook account that evening that more than 130 South Korean suspects had been arrested in the two months since the joint team began work. He said the team originated in consensus between the two leaders and enabled rapid enforcement coordination, intelligence sharing, case investigations and arrests.
Lee thanked the Cambodian government for its resolve and frontline personnel for their work. He expressed hope for deeper continuing cooperation against cross-border crime to protect both countries’ people and support safety and stability in both societies.
