Employees at Golden casino in Sangkat 1, Sihanoukville, gathered to demand wages. The report said the Labour and Vocational Training Ministry had quickly dealt with and concluded the case.
Ministry spokesperson Sun Mesa said Preah Sihanouk provincial labour officials had resolved the matter through legal procedures promptly after learning of it. He said the ministry consistently paid attention to employees’ and workers’ problems within the scope of the Labour Law.
He also asked workers to contact hotline 1286 or the ministry’s specialist officials so that their problems could be addressed promptly.
