King Norodom Sihamoni and Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk departed Techo International Airport on the morning of February 27, 2026, for Beijing, China, to undergo scheduled health checkups.
Senior leaders attending the departure included Senate President Hun Sen, also president of the King’s Supreme Privy Advisory Council, and his wife Bun Rany; National Assembly President Khuon Sudary; and Prime Minister Hun Manet and his wife.
Members of the King’s Supreme Privy Advisory Council, members of the royal family and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin also attended the departure.
