On the evening of February 28, a Chinese man at the Time Square 3 apartment building in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district reportedly attempted to jump from a height. The report linked his apparent distress and disorientation to suspected drug use.

After receiving an alert from emergency responders, Phnom Penh military police and the Tuol Kork military police base rapidly attended the scene, brought the situation under control and rescued the man.

The report identifies the man as 31-year-old Fu Fan, a transliterated name. Officers reportedly found three red pills suspected to be drugs on him. The case remained under investigation.
