The fifth Miss Planet International beauty pageant opened on March 7 at BELTEI International University in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital. According to the report, contestants came from more than 40 countries and territories, including Cambodia, France, Japan, India, the United States and Russia, beginning an event showcasing charm and cultural exchange.
According to the schedule, the final was to be held on March 15 at Koh Pich Theatre in Phnom Penh. The report described the crowning of a new winner as both a beauty competition and an opportunity to promote Cambodian tourism and the country’s international image.
