Preah Sihanouk — With support from the Ministry of Tourism, the provincial administration held the 2026 Tourism Business Forum on the afternoon of July 29, 2026. About 250 Cambodian and Chinese leaders, tourism association representatives, tourism operators and national and international tourism company representatives attended.
The forum aimed to promote Preah Sihanouk’s Green Season tourism potential, attract international tourists, particularly from the Chinese market, encourage direct flights and investment, and strengthen Cambodia–China tourism cooperation.
During the event, tourism operators and companies presented new tour packages and the province’s potential. Preah Sihanouk has modern infrastructure including an expressway, an international port, an international airport and efficient transport connections. Its natural tourism resources include attractive beaches, islands, national parks, waterfalls and mangrove forests that appeal to both domestic and international visitors.
តាំង សុចិត្តគ្រឹស្នា, Director of the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Department of Tourism, said the province was focusing on improving hospitality, tourism services, hygiene, the environment and compliance with tourism standards. These efforts aim to strengthen competitiveness and attract more international visitors to Preah Sihanouk and Cambodia in the future.
