(Malaysia) On the morning of 4 August 2026, H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, and H.E. Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, co-chaired the 3rd Meeting of the Cambodia–Malaysia Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
On the occasion, both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening and expanding cooperation in a range of priority sectors, including trade and investment, agriculture, education, security, national defence, labour, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges. Representatives of the relevant ministries and institutions of both countries attended the meeting and will work closely together to ensure the effective implementation of the meeting’s Agreed Minutes in these key areas.
The two co-chairs also signed the Agreed Minutes of the 3rd Cambodia–Malaysia JCBC Meeting, providing a roadmap to guide the further development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
