National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia Offers 2-Year Programs in 7 High-Demand Fields, Guaranteeing Job Opportunities

For young people who have just completed the high school national exam (Bac II) and are seeking further education, the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia in Siem Reap province has announced the opening of enrollment for the new 2026-2027 academic year.

This 2-year higher technical education program focuses on 7 in-demand skills, including: Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Information Technology, and Science. These skills are essential for students to be able to work in institutions, companies, private enterprises, or create their own businesses with ease.

The uniqueness of the training here is the implementation of an international standard study program, including cooperation with the Republic of Korea, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Ford Motor Company. This program ensures that students acquire skills that are in line with the current and future job market demands. Specifically, in the 2025-2026 academic year, the institute trained a total of 1,324 students (172 female students), and among them, 581 second-year students (86 female students) were preparing for the graduation exam held on August 14, 2026.

The opening of these technical skill options is a significant contribution to the implementation of the Royal Government's "One Student, One Skill" policy in building a truly qualified human resource base. Through the selection of skills that meet market needs and personal interests, young people not only enhance their competitive abilities in the job market but also gain access to stable employment opportunities and long-term income security as well.
