CAFUC to Continue Offering Civil Aviation Master’s Opportunities to Cambodian Students
CAFUC has trained 84 Cambodian students across four cohorts and will continue offering civil aviation master’s opportunities in the 2027–2028 academic year.
China: H.E. Dr. Mao Havannal, Minister in charge of the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation, paid a visit and attended the celebration ceremony of the 70th anniversary of the founding of Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC) in the People’s Republic of China. The ceremony and visit program will take place from September 20 to 23, 2026.
It should be recalled that previously, the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation had cooperated in sending Cambodian students for long-term training at CAFUC across 4 cohorts, totaling 84 students, in 4 majors, including Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Meteorology, Airport Management, and Air Transport. Apart from long-term training, the university has also provided short-term training courses to inspectors and technical officials of the Secretariat of State for Civil Aviation.
For the academic year 2027-2028, CAFUC will continue to provide opportunities for foreign students, including Cambodian students, to pursue a master’s degree in civil aviation. This continuation of educational and training cooperation will provide additional opportunities for human resource development in Cambodia’s civil aviation sector. By: Sopheak
